Nelson Mandela celebrates 90th birthday in music |

Thousands of guests in Hyde Park, London, have helped Nelson Mandela celebrate his 90th birthday with a mammoth concert.
The giant concert was held in the park to recognise Mr Mandela's birthday and his efforts in the global AIDS campaign.
A star-studded cast of artists, including Amy Winehouse, Annie Lennox,
Queen, Simple Minds, Specials, Josh Groban, Joan Baez, the Sugababes
and Eddy Grant were among the musicians performing at the Hyde Park
concert, which was broadcast around the world.
The celebration was also attended by British Prime Minister Gordon
Brown, former US president Bill Clinton, poverty activist Bob Geldof
and film stars.
The concert raised $10.4 million dollars.
Mr Mandela, whose birthdaactually falls on July 18th, retired from public life nine years ago and is now in frail health.
Mr Mandela made headlines on Wednesday by breaking his silence over the
electoral violence in Zimbabwe, describing it as a 'tragic failure of
leadership'.
